Hello! My name is Jestina Hope, The Owner of Hope Hair Braiding.
I started braiding hair at the age of 7, using my grandmother as my mannequin. Although I was terrible at it, my grandfather encouraged me, believing I would eventually excel.
While my older sister was the one passionate about hair and often practiced on me, I didn’t initially share her enthusiasm. However, after moving to the U.S., I got my first job at Caribbean Hair Braiding. It was challenging due to the talent around me, but I sought guidance from the owner, which helped me improve quickly.
Now, I’m blessed to have my own salon! I love and enjoy what I do, which shows through my work and art. I can't wait to share this journey with you, so come along—I promise you’ll love the results!
